Suction Silencers

The suction silencer is used to reduce the suction noise of the Compressor / blower. It construct in Circular shape. The fluid passes through the annular space of the acoustic packing where the sound energy is absorbed. The straight flow path through annular acoustic cylinder ensures minimum pressure  drop. The suction silencer designed as a pressure vessel.

DISCHARGE SILENCER

The discharge silencer is used to reduce the discharge noise of the Compressor / blower when discharging fluid into process. It construct in Circular shape. The fluid passes through the annular acoustic packing where the sound energy is absorbed. The straight flow path through annular acoustic cylinder ensures minimum pressure drop. The discharge silencer designed as a pressure vessel.

Feature-Benefits:

INLET DIFFUSER – provides energy dissipation and modification of the noise spectrum for easier attenuation. It also provides the back pressure required for optimum valve performance and size.

PLENUM SECTION – minimizes shell noise radiation and noise leakage. It slows the flow velocity prior for entry into the Acoustic Tube module.

ACOUSTIC TUBE MODULE – its multiple flow tubes surrounded by acoustic packing absorb and attenuate the high frequency acoustic energy as modified by the inlet diffuser.

OPTIONAL FEATURES – flanged inlet/outlet connection, supports for vertical mounting, saddle supports for horizontal mounting, and special material & finishes for high temperature and/or corrosive applications.
